Rev. Dr. D. L. Teamor was born and raised in the Metro Detroit Area and is the pastor of Mt. Calvary House of Prayer in Southfield, MI, as well as the Executive Director of Calvary House Military Support.

She is now realizing the dream she had of releasing her literary works during her days reciting at Detroit Coffeehouses such as Café Mahogany, Black World and Coffee and Cream, as well as with the Poets of Pitch Black Poetry.

D. L. Teamor gives all thanks and praise to Jesus Christ, and knows that she has been tremendously blessed because of Him. She lives daily by her favorite Scripture, “Be careful for nothing, but in all things, through prayer and supplication and with thanksgiving, make your requests known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7.
